Self Help Organization
It was realized that the Ministry of Women Development, Social Welfare and Special Education alone cannot solve the problems faced by people with disabilities. Therefore, it enlists the support of the NGOs and the community. The Government of Pakistan has started the process of mainstreaming and integrating people with disabilities.
In order to promote special education programs in the private sector, the Government has extended more financial and technical assistance to NGOs around the country. The NGOs providing welfare, education, training and rehabilitation to diverse disability groups are as follow
