Asia Pacific Center for Disability (APCD)
The "Asia-Pacific Development Center on Disability" (APCD) Project is a technical cooperation project between the Government of Japan and the Government of Thailand, which is started in Bangkok on 1 August 2002. The Overall goal of the project is to promote the empowerment of people with disabilities and a barrier-free society in developing countries in the Asia and Pacific Region. [See more detail]
Disabled People International(DPI)
As important organization of DPI-Pakistan, STEP is working very close to DPI international. DPI international is expantation in more than 100 countries. Working for Inclusive Barrier Free and Right based Society for Persons with Disability. [See more detail]
Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA)
JICA is promoting concrete policies and action plans aimed at expanding assistance for persons with disability. The agency realizes that the strategic implementation and expansion of projects that support the full participation of persons with disability in their society, and which thus allows them to take part in international cooperation endeavors as well as in their local communities, is looked to as a means of bringing about a society in which people with disabilities can participate as full members. At the same time JICA is working to promote consideration for persons with disability in other areas of cooperation, even those areas that do not directly target them. [See more detail]
