Empowering Persons with Disabilities on Voting Rights
On February 1, 2023, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) conducted a vital awareness session aimed at empowering Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) by educating them about their right to vote. This significant event took place at the Centre for Inclusive Development, located in the National Library, Islamabad. The initiative was conducted with the valuable support of the Special Talent Exchange Program (STEP).
The primary objective of this session was to ensure that PWDs are fully aware of their voting rights and the procedures involved in the electoral process.
