The Special Talent Exchange Program (STEP) invites applications from qualified and experienced professionals for the position of Consultant – Training & Capacity Building under the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) Project.
The Consultant will play a key role in designing and delivering capacity-building programmes for Organizations of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs), strengthening leadership, organizational development, advocacy, and inclusive participation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver interactive training sessions.
- Develop training manuals, presentations, and participant handouts.
- Facilitate leadership and organizational development workshops.
- Prepare comprehensive training reports and documentation.
- Coordinate with STEP’s project team throughout the assignment.
- Provide technical recommendations to strengthen project implementation.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Education, Public Administration, Political Science, Disability Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience in training and capacity building.
- Demonstrated experience working with civil society organizations, OPDs, or development sector projects.
- Strong facilitation, communication, and report writing skills.
- Sound understanding of disability inclusion, leadership development, advocacy, and organizational strengthening.
