Hiring: Legal Consultant for STEP – International Women’s Day Event
Background:
Special Talent Exchange Program (STEP) is committed to promoting the empowerment and recognition of women through various initiatives. As part of our efforts, we are organizing an event to observe International Women’s Day. We are seeking a qualified consultant to facilitate this event and compile a comprehensive report detailing its activities, outcomes, and feedback.
Objective:
The objective of this consultancy is to facilitate the observance of International Women’s Day by planning, organizing, and executing activities that align with the objectives and values of STEP. The consultant will also be responsible for compiling a comprehensive report detailing the event’s activities, outcomes, and feedback.
Scope of Work:
Develop a comprehensive plan for the International Women’s Day event, including a detailed schedule of activities. Identify and coordinate with relevant stakeholders, such as participants, sponsors, volunteers, and media personnel. Ensure all activities promote the empowerment and recognition of women and align with STEP’s objectives and values.
Pre-Event:
Review and advise on the concept note, program, and budget for the International Women’s Day event. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies. Additionally, provide input on the invitation list, venue, and logistics to ensure a successful event.
Event Execution:
In overseeing the implementation of planned activities on International Women’s Day, it is essential to provide guidance and support to volunteers and staff involved in the event. This includes ensuring smooth coordination and execution of all activities, addressing any issues that arise promptly and efficiently.
Post-Event:
In the Data Collection and Analysis phase, gather comprehensive information on all aspects of the International Women’s Day event, including participant demographics, the activities conducted, and the outcomes achieved. Analyse feedback from participants, sponsors, and other stakeholders to assess the event’s impact and identify areas for improvement. In the Report Compilation phase, write a detailed report that covers the activities, outcomes, participant feedback, and provides recommendations for future events. Ensure the report is well-structured, clear, and professional, making it suitable for presentation to stakeholders and for publication if needed. Finally, in the Submission phase, submit the final report to STEP within the specified time frame after the event.
Deliverables:
- A detailed plan for International Women’s Day, including the schedule of activities.
- Successful facilitation and execution of the International Women’s Day event.
- A comprehensive report detailing the event’s activities, outcomes, participant feedback, and recommendations for future events, submitted 15th March 2024 after the event.
Qualifications and Experience
Proven experience in event planning and facilitation, preferably with a focus on women’s empowerment or related fields. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong report writing skills, with the ability to compile comprehensive and professional documents. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
